Well set out Centre. Staff are very helpful, polite and efficient. Drakes are one of my favourite grocery shops. Fresh food always fresh and well displayed.
Always friendly, sometimes a little dearer than other supermarkets, but a good selection.
Deliberately deceptive with their meat.You select a packet of lamb chops, and the ones on the top layer look not too bad, you take them home, put them into the fridge, and when you go to cook them, you discover that the chops underneath the top layer are mostly fat and have very little meat on them.This is deliberate and planned deception by the butchers, if they had the chops on the bottom of the packet on display, nobody would buy them.Borderline fraud, would not recommend buying any meat from Foodland Gawler.
I always shop here because the staff are so friendly and helpful. They also try to stock as much Australian made brands and locally sourced produce as they can.
