Green Corner Kitchen is an institution and is to be commended for achieving a constant level of reliable quality over the years.The shop has been a part of Gawler for longer than I have, and the original owner (RIP) created something that has stood the test of time. Not even a fire that destroyed the original shop in the 80's could stop it, and even though it has changed hands the quality remains the same.Not that this is high quality dining - don't go in expecting that. This is delicious rotisary chicken, far tastier than a supermarket can hope for, fish, chips, burgers, salads, gravy.Hot, salty, delicious. All served promptly and with a local smile. And in a reasonable portion size (not wastefully big - unless you ask for it!)Long may they remain.

i had the half chicken n chips with gravy, moist chicken, tasty crunchy skin, stuffing was also flavoursome but not much quantity. have been here a few time consistent with their quality, very popular with the seniors at lunchtime, fried chicken also looks good
Usually a lovely place to order food for a quick bite on a Friday night but today was different. Food was served cold. Chips under-cooked and unseasoned, meat was falling apart and tasteless; Didn't get two bites in. A complete waste of my hard earned money.With this i also watched the owner death stare a worker for at least 5 minutes just because they made a small mistake in the kitchen. Very unprofessional, he should've confronted them politely instead of acting like a child. I would recommend the owner to see a therapist and go through the process of assertiveness training (ROR, and DERN)... Relearn how to treat people dude I genuinely felt disgusted.
Good amount of chips in serve and fish all cooked perfectly.
